Yeah, I bought one. its wiggly in the mount. I stripped out 2 screws and twisted a screw head off. These could not even handle 15in lb of torque, scope bases and rings go to 20in lb. Full charge time listed at 5.5hrs, it took approximately 12hrs with a charger that med their specs.

One gripe I have is when using the tail switch there is only one brightness setting and that's full power. Unsure of how they didn't think of the problem as well as a solution.

I am pretty sure Nitecore makes weapon mounts but if you have a universal mount it will probably fit...... A handheld 4,000 lumen light, it's pretty rad bro!

my ODIN IS TRASH.... light rattles alot where it connects to the mount and the button does not work correctly at all and it turns on by itself. i cant even leave the battery in because i fear it will turn on and it gets very hot. total waste of money

I get all of the police press releases for my city and every week there's one like this: "a total of nine guns were stolen from vehicles; five of those vehicles was left unlocked. So far this year, 318 guns have been stolen from vehicles." It makes it hard to stand up for gun rights when people are proving they can't be trusted to own them... Please add keeping every firearm secured to the list when you talk about basic gun safety...

With the Odins proprietary battery, how can you charge a backup battery while outside of the light? I plan on taking a low-light Carbine class and will running the light hard and would want to have one or two extra batteries on my kit. Thats been my only hesitation so far about buying it.

You idiots whining about China are ridiculous. I hate the Chinese government as much as anyone should but it is impossible to boycott products from China without being a hypocrite. The only valid criticism on Olight is on quality, reliability and customer service. I dig my CCP approved PL-2 on my Turkish Cannik TP9 and I'm getting two Odins for my AR15 and AR9.

The mounts I use keep the light closer to the rail than yours do. I have a few like you're running but it didn't like how far away the light is with them. Just a preference I guess

Once you get over 1000 lumens the human eye doesn't perceive a big difference. 2000 lumens looks maybe 20% brighter than 1000 lumens. It's great for overloading someone's retinas though.

Olight is such a shit product... I've had 8 different lights from them and half have had to go back. Either dead from the factory or broke from light use. Epitome of budget crap. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. They're good if you're lucky enough to get one that works... But that's a gamble.

I picked up an Olight Valkyrie pro a while back and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and reliability. I've ran surefire for years and I can say with certainty that the Olight is every bit as reliable (and brighter in most cases) making it a no brainer if you're looking for a weapon light. Just my 2 cents

I think the tape switch cap should have something like a moderate resistance 270 degree twist to unlock and remove, instead of just being able to directly pull off the coupler in one simple direction. *Though Im still getting it for the light itself.
